Genuine Peranakan Cuisine The Dream. It all began with a couple's dream to present affordable quality Peranakan cuisine to one and all. Handed down with traditional recipes, the duo's relentless pursuit of perfecting the intricate Peranakan fare finally paid off with the initial success of its first eatery at Ladyhill Hotel in the late 70s, followed by other eateries in Normanton Park and Far East Plaza. To complement the flavorful Peranakan Cuisine, a variety of local fare was subsequently added to the menu. Backed with a strong customer following and overwhelming success of the Far East Plaza eatery, IVINS Peranakan restaurant was born.
IVINS Binjai Park started out as the main restaurant outlet and central kitchen in 1988, where Peranakan cuisine are freshly prepared daily. Situated in the serene neighborhood at the lush Bukit Timah area, the restaurant is centrally accessible to the major thoroughfare and its ambience provides the ideal dining experience. Over the years, IVINS has won its group of enthusiasts and regulars, both locally and around the world. Following the success of the IVINS Binjai Park, a second restaurant outlet at Upper Thomson was set up in 1995. The outlet has since developed to a full-fledge star of its own class, with its newly extended premises. With the recent addition of the bakery, delicious Nonya Kuih and delicacies are whipped up daily to complement the current IVINS spread.
